Playground Fun!

Everett is working Michigan this week, boo.

So to keep busy, keep the kids entertained and get some exercise for both myself and Maddie, we all headed to the playground. Let me tell you, it is not an easy task. Brady will no longer walk, he has to ride his trike. I need free hands to help with the trike and to hold the leash so Hannah is in the back pack, loading the car and getting everyone ready takes about an hour!

 We headed to Playfair Park on Sunday morning. The walking path is about 1.5 miles with a playground about halfway around the loop. Here is a series of Brady doing the "big slide:"

 She especially liked it when Brady was swinging next to her, she loved watching him.

It was a lot fun until Brady realized that we were near the pool...then he was mad that we weren't going swimming. The life of an almost three year old!

I do not post much on the blog anymore because of the convenience of Facebook. Especially now that I have a smart phone, I can upload pictures directly from my phone to Facebook, negating the need to post on the blog.  Here are a few pictures that didn't make it to Facebook.

Brady is definitely in the throes of the "terrible twos." He throws a fit when he does not get his way, no matter what. He is very strong willed and thinks that by yelling/crying/screaming/throwing himself on the floor he will get his way. We are working on it...

Hannah and Judah are growing by the day. On Wednesday night, Hannah took two steps on her own. She will be walking any day now. She is the sweetest girl, so happy.

She loved Grandma and Grandpa's new boat. She played in the water and had a blast.

Brady enjoyed rocking out at the Children Concert during The Festival. Tomorrow the family is headed to the fair, more pictures to come!

Grandma and her grandkids!

I took a video while Holli attempted to get everyone to look at the camera at the same time. Henry did not want Hannah touching him, Hannah wouldn't sit still and Brady decided to be shy, what a silly bunch! We had a great weekend relaxing and playing in Sandpoint. It is so nice to go somewhere and be able to fully relax. Brady had a great time, he acts like he owns Grandma's' house. He gets up at 5 am PST and runs upstairs yelling "Dam-ma, where are you?" He bosses the dogs around and helps himself to everything.

The big adventure came when Brady disappeared for a few minutes while everyone was outside. Dad was "resting" on the back deck after two margaritas and a pain pill, Mom was taking Henry for a walk, I was doing something with Hannah...Ev came in the laundry and realized that his feet got wet...hmm, why would the floor of the laundry room be wet? Not just a little wet but completely flooded with two inches of cold water?!?

Brady had turned on the hose and left it running right outside the basement bathroom window! The water was running straight into the window well and had flooded the bathroom and laundry room! Three wet vac empties and a good mopping later, everything was spotless!
