Hannah is 1!

We celebrated Miss Hannah's first brithday today! As you can see, Brady is quite the singer...and both kids loved the cupcakes! My kids are definitely the light of my life and I cannot believe that Hannah is a year old. I can distinctly remember going to the hospital to be induced and laboring for 18 hours, awaiting her birth. Now she is off and running, literally. I need to hold back the hands of time and enjoy my kids more.

Hannah also had her one year check up today:
Weight 26 lbs. 10 oz.
Height 31

She is the same height that Brady was at one year but two pounds less...:)

Labor Day Pictures

We had a nice three day weekend, Ev came home Friday night from a week away in Wyoming. Grandma and Grandpa came on Saturday. Today we had a nice family day.

 Hannah loves corn! She pretty much loves everything at this point, she is a good eater! :)

 She is also officially a walker! I have been trying to capture a good picture of her walking but have not succeeded yet. She is walking everywhere!

Any time Brady sees the camera, he needs to have his picture taken but I can't get him to smile. He stands and yells "cheese" until I take the picture. 

Playground Fun!

Everett is working Michigan this week, boo.

So to keep busy, keep the kids entertained and get some exercise for both myself and Maddie, we all headed to the playground. Let me tell you, it is not an easy task. Brady will no longer walk, he has to ride his trike. I need free hands to help with the trike and to hold the leash so Hannah is in the back pack, loading the car and getting everyone ready takes about an hour!

 We headed to Playfair Park on Sunday morning. The walking path is about 1.5 miles with a playground about halfway around the loop. Here is a series of Brady doing the "big slide:"

 She especially liked it when Brady was swinging next to her, she loved watching him.

It was a lot fun until Brady realized that we were near the pool...then he was mad that we weren't going swimming. The life of an almost three year old!

I do not post much on the blog anymore because of the convenience of Facebook. Especially now that I have a smart phone, I can upload pictures directly from my phone to Facebook, negating the need to post on the blog.  Here are a few pictures that didn't make it to Facebook.

Brady is definitely in the throes of the "terrible twos." He throws a fit when he does not get his way, no matter what. He is very strong willed and thinks that by yelling/crying/screaming/throwing himself on the floor he will get his way. We are working on it...

Hannah and Judah are growing by the day. On Wednesday night, Hannah took two steps on her own. She will be walking any day now. She is the sweetest girl, so happy.

She loved Grandma and Grandpa's new boat. She played in the water and had a blast.

Brady enjoyed rocking out at the Children Concert during The Festival. Tomorrow the family is headed to the fair, more pictures to come!
